Nokia 1202

A very basic model phone, that doesn’t really pertain to the phones that are greatly in demand, neither Multimedia nor Camera, it’s just very basic models, which even the ankle bitters can easily handle. There is not really much to discuss about this model, all basic features are very well included by the designer. Design – the phone slightly differs from the usual 1100, in the way that its corners are round and not really rectangular and I shouldn’t forget to comment that its size is really compact, and can easily fit even in to the tight fittings. Very decent finish and plastic material that has been used to build the basic frame of the phone is bearable. The small spores filled back gives you a firm grip, when you hold. The phone has nothing on its sides except for the flash light on the top and loudspeaker at the back.

Features – the phone supports all basic functionalities that a basic model must have (Very obvious!!!). The keypad is made of a slightly different plastic material, but gives you a better feel when touched. The keys aren’t that hard to press either. There are two special keys call connect and disconnect, apart from this there is a button at the centre, I dint understand the meaning of that key there. In fact it gives the buyer an impression that the key is the menu key, but actually isn’t, it does nothing.

One good thing about the phone is that would make the buyers feel a little comfortable is the phone has inbuilt Radio. But remember the phone has a very poor sound feature, the sound leaks very badly out through the provision at the back. Even as you talk the vibration of the phone is too much. That’s one major disadvantage over this model.

Performance – the phone has an excellent battery power and supports up to 3 days without charge (nominal usage). Actually, one best thing about lower end models is that the battery life of these is really better than its higher end rivals. On the whole the phone is a step higher than 1100 and a step below 1208.
